This performance fuses choreographed movement, synthesized music and projected video reveal a sculptural quality to music, visual structures of rhythm and timbre being interpreted through human movement, crystallised through live digital projections.
SomeTime takes the form of an audiovisual conversation between three artists about the nature of time. This experimental piece does not adhere to the traditional sense of a fixed, linear concept of time. We have discussed the represention of time through invention and improvisation, using our three respective artforms, and the result is a conversation of audible and visual analogies: choreographed movement, synthesized music and projected video combine to dissect the sequence of events.
